Qinhuangdao Goldensea Industry, a member of Yihai Group, is a large grain and oil processing joint venture between Wilmar Singapore and ADM USA ; and is make up of the following companies: Qinhuangdao Goldensea Grain and Oil Industry Co., Ltd, Qinhuangdao Goldensea Foodstuff Industries Co., Ltd and Qinhuangdao Goldensea Specialty Oils and Fats Industries Co., Ltd with a total investment of US$170 millon.

   Goldensea Industry has a combined site area of 660 thousand square meters; processes 3 million tons of soybeans yearly: producing 1.35 million tons of refined soybean oil, 100 thousand tons of specialty fats and oils and 40 thousand tons of soy protein concentrate.

   Having brought together the technical expertise and equipment of Wilmar and ADM, Goldensea Industry is now one of the world's foremost oilseed processors. Some of the company's brand names are: KOUFU, MANFU, XINYUAN, YIHAI, SANIA and FENGYUAN. Furthermore Goldensea Industry is now supplying to some of the big brands, like: Shuanghui, Nestle and Carrefour. On Sep 1, 2005, Goldensea's KOUFU refined soybean oil was named one of the top Chinese brands.

   Goldensea Grain and Oil Industry Co., Ltd, located in Qinhuangdao port, was built in 2000 with a total of US$80 million. It now has 2 crushing plants and 5 oil refining lines that process 7000 tons of soybeans per day; 2800 tons of edible oil and 12 tons of lecithin respectively. Some of the main products include: 42-48% protein soybean meal; different grades of refined soybean oil, palm oil and coconut oil; feed-grade lecithin and palletized hulls. Together these products dominate more than 20% of the local market share.

   Over the years, Goldensea Grain and Oil Industry Co., Ltd has won many awards and accolades like “China's top 500 import and export enterprises”, “China's top 100 foodstuff industries” and many others.

   Goldensea Foodstuff Industries Co., Ltd, located in Qinhuangdao economic and technological development zone, East zone (Shanhaiguan, East), was built in 2003 with a total of US$80 million. With world-class processing know-how, the plant processes 1200 tons of non-GMO soybeans daily; producing defatted soy flour, soy sauce meal and white flakes. In addition, the plant also sorts 200 tons of edible soy beans, refines 800 tons of refined soybean oil, de-waxes 200 tons of corn oil, packs 550 tons of assorted oil, and produces 140 tons of soy protein concentrate and 5 tons of food-grade lecithin daily. In 2005, Goldensea Foodstuff Industries Co., Ltd was recognized as the city's top enterprise, as well as, the city's leading agricultural processor.

   Majority exporting destinations are Japan , UK , South Korea and South East Asia . Last year, Goldensea Foodstuff Industries Co., Ltd achieved a record high in refined soybean oil export to Japan.
